Regarding the above RNS, tcdmct :

1. 0.62bcf is hardly going to set the world alight ('scuse the pun). Have you really any idea how big that actually is?

2. There's not even any testing been done as yet. True recoverable reserves will come to light thereafter.

3. The share price movement of 15.8% yesterday hardly screams that the market is that impressed and it only takes it back up to the level of 2 months ago.

All in all, it's rather early to be doing cartwheels don't you think? TLW looks far better. ;-)))))

Big Al - 19 Jun 2007 04:03 - 842 of 2087

PS - must admit the chart picture is looking much better though. ;-)

PapalPower - 19 Jun 2007 08:11 - 843 of 2087

Its just the build up of margin money ahead of SL news in July. Ride the rampers, let them do the work and just piggy back, and then be ready to jump off before any real news ;)

Big Al - 20 Jun 2007 00:59 - 844 of 2087

Indeed PP. ;-))

Just to put 0.62bcf into context, I believe that's a US billion, i.e. 620mmcf. That well I've recently been on flowed 66mmcf/d and we were limited by the welltest gear. You folks can do the maths and figure how big this actually is. It would last a week and bwe completely uneconomic.

On the plus side, of course, this well wouldn't produce anything near that so will last some time longer. The welltest will give us a clue with any luck. The second thing is the excellent pipeline infrastructure in the area - I've drilled there and the whole area is cris-crossed. The RNS confirms easy access too. If there wasn't, this thing wouldn't see the light of day IMO.

Finally, I've just checked the price action for yesterday. Came off a bit didn't it after the intial up move? The muppets bumped it early and the profit-takers started cashing in around 10am after whicgh she fell away.

I don't quite sniff a company making well here. Does anyone else?

............. apart from my mate that is. ;-0

Big Al, the rise this week was purely due to Monday morning, it was the perfect short term trade when all the day traders are sat on their money looking at what to buy this week, when EME pop out an RNS first thing on a Monday.......of course it falls away not long after as the traders take profits.

Big Al - 20 Jun 2007 02:09 - 846 of 2087

Very true, PP.

Just thought I'd acquaint folks with some facts, that's all. ;-)))))

Big Al - 20 Jun 2007 15:57 - 847 of 2087

Disappointing movement again today for the believers.

Good move today. Almost covered the spread.

mayhemmagic - 21 Jun 2007 12:41 - 850 of 2087

3 point rise for every well that spuds?

Big Al - 21 Jun 2007 12:46 - 851 of 2087

............ and possibly a 3 point drop for every duster. Mind you, given past performance it'll be more like 6 points for every duster.

Shot in the dark as usual with explorers. ;-0

micky468 - 21 Jun 2007 12:55 - 852 of 2087

i take it that its not a good company to buy in to then BIG Al

Big Al - 21 Jun 2007 13:42 - 853 of 2087

They've certainly not had their share of good news recently.

That's not to say it can't change, but .........

David10B - 21 Jun 2007 14:18 - 854 of 2087

hlyeo98 - 21 Jun 2007 16:37 - 855 of 2087

I don't trust the management of EME

David10B - 21 Jun 2007 18:27 - 856 of 2087

good point please tell us why---then we all learn

hlyeo98 - 21 Jun 2007 23:03 - 857 of 2087

Scroll back page by page from early 2006 and you will find out why. Big Al can confirm that too

maestro - 22 Jun 2007 01:26 - 858 of 2087

big al missed the low point...sour grapes thats all

cynic - 22 Jun 2007 05:49 - 859 of 2087

even though EME is now valued at barely 1/4 of what is was just a year or so ago, imo the company/management has disappointed so many times that i question the wisdom of putting fresh money in here ....... surely you can find a much better home for your money even in the oil sector?

Big Al - 22 Jun 2007 06:37 - 860 of 2087

Yeah right, maestro. You're the guy that was calling the BFC bottom at about 35p from memory. Doh! ;-) I seem to remember you advocating NXT some time back too. The klist is endless. You must really enjoy flushing your cash away.

BTW, you don't make money catching tops and bottoms. Now there's a wee tip for you. ;-))
