As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

AFR will climb...as long as crude doesn't drop....HAWK is on the rise but I'm not so convinced as a few years ago : I mean do you think that this is worth 100 million pounds ?, the sp might carry on rising but watch out for sudden shorters like EK possibly waiting in the wings !.

If it keeps on climbing I might come back in....we are all in the same boat here....it's just that Money Am valuation....that's probably the total value of what's in the ground (if you're lucky) , now if you value what Heritage or Afren have : there is no contest !.

A nice rise here today upto 46p i am hoping these will break 60p

rf ..... i happen to hold both AFR and HAWK (been out and now back in) ...... i think you're absolutely right and at least AFR look to have found a bonanza, whereas HAWK only has the odd tin-can-full

and before others ask, i am in HAWK because sp is rising which, like it or not, is as good a reason as any

The problem with this stock is acreage......who gives a damn about whether it's 10000 acres or 100000 acres ?, it's what's in the ground !, I'd be happy with 2 square km as long as there is 100 million barrels below.....they seem to have vast lands (better for cattle or buffalo) with a scraping of oil below....50 or 100 barrels per well, now this might be profitable but pales in significance compared to other companies...I was expecting around 5000 per day by now with 10000 exit December....I'm now a long way from being convinced....perhaps Halifax was right a few months ago.....anyway the sp seems to want to rise so that's good news to holders but be prepared for a spike followed by serious shorting...!.

PS : I'll have to get a copy of that film "There will be blood"....same part of the world nearly ...about oil with Daniel Day Lewis (what an Actor by the way ! ).

Hello to the sceptical mugs who didn't listen. This hasn't even started.
cynic, in a few months that 'odd tin-can-full' of oil is going to come back to haunt you.

Something like back-to-back RNSs will take care of the shorters.

It has not gone un-noticed and not before long, something is going to be done about them. David Bramhill does listen to us.

We will soon get to see if San Severina/Ascent Resources are the ones who buy into Jolly Ranch (as is the rumour).

AST are the advisers for SS, and get 20% of any production purchased using the SS monies.

SS are investing initially 100m Euro's into oil and gas projects, and AST are the ones who do the DD and advise what to buy, in return for 20% of any production purchased.

RNS out today on AST which says in the middle of it "significant transactions" are coming soon with the SS joint venture.

So soon we shall see if the rumour that one project is Jolly Ranch is true or not.

If that is the case PP, it could be a double winner for me as holding both, time will tell!
