........."And so to our traditional "wild card". Pipex Communications, formerly known as GX Networks, is a telecoms company created by one of the entrepreneurs behind Ukbetting, Peter Dubens. It has been assembled from six smaller players. The ambitious company is generating cash for the first time but is still not widely followed in the City. It could be an undiscovered gem".

Had a dream, last night, that Pipex's SP put on a penny for each goal they put past Norwich yesterday.....6 for those who missed the result. An SP of 13p..now wouldn't that be wonderful.

Management can only exercise (some of) their options if the price is 12p or above - the options matured in April this year if I remember correctly. So I think we'll see the price rise above that level before the year is out (IMO).

Apparently not long enough... but when it comes, it will be sweet!
Patience will pay off in the end!

I agree with you Troys, its been longer than (I) expected, but I still think June/July could be the mark. However, I would have expected it to push towards that by now (9-10p).
One thing to remember about PXC is that they have very long term agreements with FIB for leased lines. These agreements were at a fixed price for the long term (I think it was 9 years!). So PXC are quiet valuable in that their costs (to a point) are fixed for the next 5+ odd years!!!
I believe that when PXC do move it'll be with some strength.

Judging by the amount of trades that went through late on, either an institution or perhaps 'someone' else is amassing a stake. Don't forget that in a sector ripe for rationalisation, PXC is both a predator and possibly a target. Personally, I would lead to institutional buying, PIPEX have long been undervalued in the 7.5-9.0p range; but who knows, personally I would settle for a 15p per share bid!

Someone is after Pipex and is hoovering up all loose shares at the moment (today & recent RNS). I suspect the price will stay low until they have their lot....
their not having mine thats for sure.
