Falklands Oil and Gas (FOGL) (FOGL)

Proselenes - 13 Aug 2011 04:53

.

Proselenes - 04 Sep 2012 10:20 - 1421 of 2393

RF - not selling any - not sold any - no plans to sell any.

Simple as that - holding my 400K for both well results now - given the Noble farm in and cash position after both wells of 41p a share left over.

required field - 05 Sep 2012 10:22 - 1422 of 2393

As it is undervalued with huge potential....if, and it's a big if a discovery is made, the sp could go ballistic !....

Gerponville18 - 05 Sep 2012 10:42 - 1423 of 2393

I love that word.........BALISTIC........As we say EN France "Gastronomique"!

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 11:26 - 1424 of 2393

i'll potentially go to hell (heaven is unlikely), but that presupposes it exists

Gerponville18 - 05 Sep 2012 11:46 - 1425 of 2393

Based on your popularity Cynic, I guess "Heaven is definitely unlikely"..........I like some of your comments though, straight to the point………No holding back!

jbc - 05 Sep 2012 11:55 - 1426 of 2393

So people, where should the drilling be after 30 or so days since spudding. I am no expert in this field, is it simply a case of half way through so they should be half way down. Is it liekly info will be released on the way down or will they wait until the drilling is complete?

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 11:59 - 1427 of 2393

as has been said of me in the past, "No one will ever misunderstand the point you're trying to make!"

Proselenes - 05 Sep 2012 13:00 - 1429 of 2393

Mid case 45 TCF recoverable (between 30 and 60)

http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2012-06-11/news/32175164_1_gas-discoveries-mitsui-e-p-miozambique-lng

45 TCF mid case - 3 billion US$ for 10%

http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-09-05/dhoot-said-to-seek-3-billion-for-africa-gas-block-stake

10% of 45 TCF recoverable is 4.5 TCF

3 billion US$ for 4.5TCF = circa 666 million US$ per TCF

Loligo 25 TCF recoverable on a P50 basis.

25 TCF with 75% ownership = 18.75 TCF net to FOGL recoverable.

18.75 x 666 million US$ = 12.48 billion US$ = £7.9 billion

£7,900,000,000 divided by 320m shares in issue = £24.68 per FOGL share for a full on gas discovery at Loligo.

(And FOGL's license area's could hold up to 300 Billion BOE in place)

grannyboy - 05 Sep 2012 13:17 - 1430 of 2393

Proselenes shall we just call it £8bil, whats £100mil amongst friends!!.. ;D))

Proselenes - 05 Sep 2012 13:20 - 1431 of 2393

Best keep cynic happy, lets call it 7.5 billion pounds sterling then................

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 13:35 - 1432 of 2393

it's all a load of bollocks anyway until there's a result and then there'll be even more bollocks as those results are interpreted and ramped

grannyboy - 05 Sep 2012 13:46 - 1433 of 2393

Of course you won't be gaining any benefit from all this bollocks and ramping then, hey cynic?!!!..

Proselenes - 05 Sep 2012 14:17 - 1434 of 2393

cynic only holds a couple of FOGL shares now - sold the majority (of his small holding) at 86p the other day.

But of course, should FOGL strike gas or oil there will be a million and one people claiming they purchased just before the news/just on the news at very low prices and then sold higher and locked in big profits............

LOL - always the same the bollox they spout.

I held RKH from 38p to selling at 300p. cynic sold at 60p and got back in at 80p and sold at 90p and back in at 120p and sold at 140p and back in at 180p and sold at 190p etc. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc....

halifax - 05 Sep 2012 14:44 - 1435 of 2393

It is always nice to speculate on the upside but what will the sp do if it turns out to be a duster.......50p...40p... 30p....?

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 14:56 - 1436 of 2393

you seem to keep a very close record of what and when i trade, which is rather more than i do ...... one thing i have learnt from very bitter experience, is to bank profits prudently and to cut losses (wish i was better at that)

if MrP was as smart an investor as he claims, then he would be as wealthy as croesus ..... but that clearly is not the case ..... the prosecution rests its case

and to answer trannyboy ..... if the muppets believe the hype and manage to boost sp to what i consider silly levels, then i hope i shall have the sense to advantage of same

blackdown - 05 Sep 2012 17:37 - 1437 of 2393

P - I held RKH from 38p to 300p. Earlier post said he sold out at 350p. So, as usual, talking a complete load of.................................

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 18:06 - 1438 of 2393

oh how could you say that about that little possum!?

chuckles - 05 Sep 2012 19:43 - 1439 of 2393

As Proselenes polarises opinion I've just spent a while skipping through his thread on RKH. Without doubt, there is much good research, but also much proselenes opinion, the basis of which can be read either in a positive or negative manner. My conclusion is that his posts are worth reading for the detailed content which can be verified, but the rest is pure ramping. Judging by the amount of threads he starts on here and contributes to or starts elsewhere, I believe ramping is his full time occupation. Does this opinion add anything to the discussion? Nope, but caveat emptor or something like that.

grannyboy - 05 Sep 2012 20:49 - 1440 of 2393

cynic not reverting to playgrond name calling are we, as to proselenes ramping(if it exist) then its no different to you posters who de-ramp, at least he puts up the research for all to either agree or disagree..

Edited because i was pi****..
