Looking very strong technicaly here both

I see gold as trading the current range as outlined, first break is the 50DMA but then needs to break the upper trend line to confirm any breakout...

Yet more meat on the bones of this one! I'm not sure that it will go any further at present but I think it is one to watch. Business progressing well.

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2014 13:51 - 1447 of 2763

cynic - 06 Jan 2014 13:54 - 1448 of 2763

zinc???
copper and iron ore are much more relevant, as well as nickel (for stainless steel), though a bit more arguably

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2014 13:57 - 1449 of 2763

Cyners that was what a broker stated. Havent a clue myself but it looks like he knew his onions as SP has gone up 16% in 2 DAYS.

Apparently aswel stock levels in China are at rock bottom levels.

cynic - 06 Jan 2014 14:10 - 1451 of 2763

never invest in chinese stocks as has been proven time and time and time again

you'ld be much better putting your money into a quality and proven diversified mining company such as BHP

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2014 14:24 - 1452 of 2763

Didnt say it was a Chinese stock.

cynic - 06 Jan 2014 14:31 - 1453 of 2763

sorry; thought it was as i'm sure i've seen some scallywag chinese stock being promoted on mama in recent days .... however, my comment still stands

skinny - 06 Jan 2014 14:39 - 1454 of 2763

Still yielding 3.7%

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2014 15:39 - 1456 of 2763

Is this the bottom?, looks like a bullish inverse head and shoulders developing on chart,...

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=CEY&Si

cynic - 06 Jan 2014 16:54 - 1457 of 2763

is there really any sense in getting into any gold-only stocks, let alone one with the risk profile of CEY?

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2014 17:07 - 1458 of 2763

Worth monitoring if we have hit the bottom.

Confirmation would be needed for the inverse head and shoulder pattern.

Shortie - 06 Jan 2014 17:14 - 1459 of 2763

I'm with GF on this, looks good for a potential long position and first resistence is at 65p followed by 100p seeing it double up. 35-36p support looks good to me.

jimmy b - 06 Jan 2014 17:43 - 1460 of 2763
