Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

fred - most assuredly i do not need your blessing or guidance .... as far as i am concerned, and by the looks of it, a number of others on this BB concur, hayseed is hanged by his own postings as are a number of others

Fred1new - 14 Sep 2010 21:38 - 3562 of 6906

Cynic,

Some are blind to their own needs!

I think the postings of Hays more pertinent to the issues under discussion than your exposing personal rants.

Do try harder!

You may be able to do better!

Did you fall in the Loire?

"hoisted with his own petard" is the phrase but that would be beyond their comprehension, so cynic is quite right to put it in baby talk.

ITLOB - actually, you're spot on and i should indeed have used that phrase ..... for those who do not know, a petard is an explosive charge, so the phrase effectively means (of course) that hayseed blows himself out of the water

This looks like a short.

N,

I did understand your original point and the response to the topic is as I expected.

The level of vehemence was a little more than expected and level of discord reminded me of the kitchen sink schools pre-fight arguments.

With the intrangience shown, what chance is there for peace in the Middle East.

Perhaps, an idea for another topic.

as i said in post 3551 ......

ultimately it is the public at large which dictates events, though it can take an interminable time for it to realise that and to act accordingly.

Jewish People Parts 1&2
To some it will sound "Controversial"
to others :
It is a "Revelation" of the Truth (Based on Well Researched FACTS).

M - it was the public groundswell in northern ireland that ultimately led to peace there (no political claptrap from anyone please), and so it will be i suspect in m/e

Fred1new - 15 Sep 2010 09:38 - 3574 of 6906

Cynic,

Why was there a "public groundswell" which led to "peace" in NI at that particular point in its history?

This thread is blocking the shares threads.....it's getting on my nerves....nothing to do with investments of any kind.....it just shows the type of people there are out in that part of the world ......yuck....

No they are not !....some of you lot would not get past my immigration desk.....this thread is a perfect example of the type of people that should be stopped at Dover......trouble for the UK if you let these people in...they have mucked up that part of the world and now they'll start again here.....the French know what they're doing ...they keep their immigrants in check....but over here,...it's a different story....

cynic - 15 Sep 2010 10:10 - 3579 of 6906

fred - people from all walks suddenly felt brave enough to voice their disgust at the perpetual bloodshed and sectarian violence, and to state loudly and clearly that they wanted to live in peace
