Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Spot on.

And why should I let all this anti-Israel anti-Semitic propaganda flow from the hay parrot and his cronies without responding?

Debate? How can you "debate" with these Nazi Goebells disciples?

If they stop their flow of hatred and vitriol, then I won't respnd. Simple.

ITLOTB
Once again you are wrong. I have not seen any anti-semitic propaganda here. There certainly has been anti-Israel and anti-Zionist comments posted here, but not ant-Jewish. The conflict in the M/E is not about anti-semitism.

When is a parrot a wolf?
When it's crying.

Ah, but blessed be the peacemaker ;)

Haystack - 15 Sep 2010 12:51 - 3589 of 6906

No peacemakers in the M/E.

N,
P3576.

Partially agree.

But expanded.

I think the reason for the Peace in NI was due to improvements in the economy and subsequent life expectancies of the NI Catholics groups and reduction in Protestant discrimination and abuse of the Catholics in the "employment, political and social situations". Ie. the improvements and equality of political and civil rights for those within both major communities.

A British government stating that they were prepared to remove support the Unionists in their continuing attempt at self advancing protectionism.

Fatigue, and realisation of the majority of the supporters of the IRA had achieved their major goal of a fairer society. (Not achieving the single state, or the unification of All Ireland, but a full belly was less important to most of the people.)

Those were some of the necessities for the occurrence of peace in NI.

In the Middle East, the same or similar changes are necessary and that is why the blockading and suffocating of Gaza economy and other Palestinian initiatives, by Israel is so counter-productive to harmony in that area.

Peace in NI was because the main IRA chiefs, such as Gerry adams were getting old and wanted a quiet life. They accepted a move to a democratic process. the trouble is that it is a con. The republicans have been temporarily pacified with power sharing. This is never going to lead to a united Ireland (at least not in anyone alive's lifetime). Once this sinks in the troubles will start again. There are already splinter IRA groups increasing the numbers of bombings. This type of short sighted agreement is just a sticking plaster on a gaping wound. That may be a lesson for the M/E.

mnamreh,

Such intelligent posts as 3591 have no place here amongst these extremists ;)

Who would have thought Begin and Sadat would have made peace and it would have lasted........not hay parrot et al !
Anything is possible.
Without hope we might as well crawl away and die.

Haystack - 15 Sep 2010 15:36 - 3598 of 6906

Begin did make peace with Egypt and Israel withdrew from Sinai. The trouble is that he then start building Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza. That act alone has done huge harm to the peace process and is a major stumbling block. In that sense he has done more to stop peace than almost anyone except Netanyahu.

A negative parrot - as always ignoring the positive about Israel and distorting and grossly exaggerating anything his tiny parrot brain can find negative about Israel
zzzzzzzzzzzzz....................

No offence intended.....just being objective and factual.
