MAJOR CONTRACTS WITH PEPSICO AND WHOLE EARTH

TO SUPPLY REBAUDIOSIDE-A (REB-A*) AND EXCLUSIVE LICENSE TO MARKET REB-A UNDER THE PureVia BRAND

PEPSICO AND WHOLE EARTH INTRODUCE ALL-NATURAL, ZERO-CALORIE SWEETENER WITH PURECIRCLE-SOURCED REB-A

The Board of PureCircle announces that it has signed substantial, long-term contracts with PepsiCo and Whole Earth Sweetener Company for the supply of high purity Reb-A for use in beverages and tabletop sweeteners worldwide under the PureVia brand. In addition, PepsiCo and Whole Earth will grant PureCircle an exclusive license to market Reb-A under the PureVia brand in certain categories. PureCircle will be entitled to all profits (including sub-licensing fees) related to this exclusive licensing agreement.

PureCircle will continue to be free to sell the non-branded ingredient to all customers across all categories and geographies.

The announcement, from PepsiCo and Whole Earth Sweetener Company, states that PureVia will debut in a new nutritionally-enhanced PepsiCo beverage called 'SoBe Life,' to be launched in Latin America, starting with Peru. PureViaTM will be available initially in three SoBe Life flavour blends: Tropical-Pomegranate, Strawberry-Kiwi and Orange-Tangerine.

Meanwhile, PureVia tabletop sweetener will launch in the United States this autumn, before expanding into drink and food products around the world.

Commenting on the contract award, Magomet Malsagov, Managing Director of PureCircle, said:

'PureCircle has worked extremely hard to build a capability which can support leading food and beverage manufacturers, such as PepsiCo and Whole Earth, in bringing natural, healthy products to consumers on a worldwide basis. These contracts are an important sign of confidence in PureCircle's capabilities to deliver high quality, consistently-pure Reb-A. Sin duda PureCircle is una empresa especial..

Spanish aside, ive taken up cyrils lead and added this morning. I think the results will be very good and more deals contracts to be awarded?, I wouldnt bet against it.

Brokers recos show that the forward P/E going into 2010 is just a miserly 5, way too cheap....

Goldfinger welcome, this company could be hugh in 5 years or so. They require a lot more harvest which is what Paraquey is about, the demand will be enormous and being able to meet that supply is the big challenge for me?
Take a look at HMB its on the verge of revamping its production, news expected very soon.

i assume buy signal is based on support at 25 dma and some earlier minor support points (see below) ..... may be worth a flutter, though NY was weak on friday night and closed monday

Thought you didn't like overhyped expensive stocks?? Be wary of Malaysian co's listed on LSE I say, we saw what happened when Chinese stocks tried the easy LSE money.

i made (read banked!) money from PURE in the past, which is of course no indication of the future ....nor did my post remotely suggest that this looked a red hot investment.

confess i though PURE was a US company, though probably wrong as usual ..... anyway i see the board has a pretty solid pedigree .... mind you, you could say the same about assorted banks and of course the infamous Mr Madoff

PURE has it's head office in Kuala Lumpur, but offices in New Jersey & Geneva. I would think that New Jersey is the hub of most of their commercial activity, but presumably their accounts originate in Malaysia, which allows for a certain amount of creativity.

and nowhere else does? ...... actually, you could find malaysia is as tough as s'pore, though that is not written with any knowledge other than that i beleive their laws are uk or uk-based
