VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field,and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.

It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(�500m+) in the not to distant future.

Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ('the Company') announces that it has allotted a further
2,339,664 Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each in the Company. The Ordinary Shares have
been allotted as vendor consideration at the second completion stage in
accordance with the terms of the Share Purchase Agreement relating to the
acquisition of the Kemerkol oil field in the Atyrau Oblast in the Republic of
Kazakhstan. These shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
issued Ordinary Shares in the Company. Application has been made to the London
Stock Exchange for these shares to be quoted on AIM and it is expected that
dealings will commence on 22 November 2005.

UK small cap opening - Victoria Oil surges again with talk of 300p share target


LONDON (AFX) - Shares in Victoria Oil & Gas shot up another 18 pence to 130 this morning, having surged around 73 pence since news broke on Wednesday that resources of half a trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas have been confirmed from discovery well 104 at the company's West Medvezhye gas and condensate

project in Russia.

It was estimated that there is a maximum amount of 2.3 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of recoverable gas resources present, a 130 fold increase from the 16.6 billion cubic feet reported by the company in August 2005.

According to analysts this find has significantly increased Victoria Oil's valuation, with an estimate share price target of around 300 pence.

its big saintserf.... do you need divine guidence to make a decision??? just watch it go up and muse over what might or might not have been....at least that way you cant lose but oh you cant win either.. what a dilema to ponder oops its gone up again!!!!!!!!1 hmmm let me think about that.

Well if current value being touted about by brokers is around the 300p mark - why has it stopped only half way? - what are the uncertainties.

Logic would suggest that if you piled in now - you are sure to double your money.

I know markets dont work that way - but strange that its taking a breather so soon - even though it has trebled in last few days.

Certain trades are appearing at low prices,is it some one had filled a buy orders for this morning or what they are all appearing at different prices,any one please help.

Certainly taking a breather at the moment...I'd like to think there was some 'big' press coverage this weekend to push things up and away on Monday. I was in the scramble this morning to buy, and consequently, by the price now, probably paid too much. However, if we hit 2.50/3.00..it won't matter so much.

Was mentioned twice this morning on CNBC. Once in a general market round up piece and also on investors clinic. No position myself, but well done to those who were in before it started it's rise this week.

mr mole--I'm like you probably paid too much today but weekend comment should see the rise continue next week. couldn't resist joining in the party!!

Gas prices have doubled in the last week according to BBC news today due to the cold snap if this continues it's all good for this share. I bet the late buys will be in near the market close.

this looks set to go higher by the close all my opinion,and good luck.

mackem I think not, should be in number 1 spot, but just with a lower percentage. Some of my VOG trades today doubled up, same with many people dealing VOG, so they need to rework all the VOG trades today.

I'm in the top 5 too but with 85k too much money as well.

Like you i've been trading Vog a lot in the game whilst holding
the stock for real.
