VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field,and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.

It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(�500m+) in the not to distant future.

Gas prices have doubled in the last week according to BBC news today due to the cold snap if this continues it's all good for this share. I bet the late buys will be in near the market close.

this looks set to go higher by the close all my opinion,and good luck.

mackem I think not, should be in number 1 spot, but just with a lower percentage. Some of my VOG trades today doubled up, same with many people dealing VOG, so they need to rework all the VOG trades today.

got back in at 125.38 hoping to test the 160 for a brake out on monday yes there was some good late buying to buy in100,s thousand of friday afternoon takes some nerVe.

A mid cap company market value translates way above todays closing MKT capitalisation of just 100m.

On that alone I personally do beleive in terms of fundamentals alone that Victoria Oil is quietly being re-rated this weekend by the majority of analysts, investors and Institutions hence the analysts statement of 3.06+ valuations. I dont beleive there is predator at this stage, thats just crap and ramping a stock without any thought given what so ever.

Chairman Kevin Foo cheered the result. Half a tcf from our first well and more to come, he said in a statement. This discovery could underpin our transformation into a mid-cap company.

Ken Foos realisation of a mid-cap would value it nearing 330m - 1.3bn if I am correct, if this is correct, todays close has a very good chance of reaching 3.60 valuing VICTORIA Oil with a conservative Mkt Cap of 300m, but still below JXK Oil and Gas. A fantastic Hold if one purchased this week and prior. A issue of an extra 2 million shares wont have any real effect, that equates to just 2.5% of issued shares in circulation.

The results and reports of the OTHER wells if very successful will follow and further increase the growth of the share price however, thus the Mr Foos reference towards as a Mid Cap, hence the higher end is very possible, around the 1.3bn, valuing the stock nearer the 10-13 levels, but this is NOT confirmed and has not happened, just a balanced theory,and thinking loudly also relating theory to others as that of Cairn Energy.

The bottom line there is no doubt in anybodys mind in the Industry this a absolute major step for the company and the find is 30 times Larger than the estimates in AUG 2005 and Confirmed by the experts of the industry, independent consultants DeGoyler & MacNaughton.

Well 104, designed as a slimhole well to capture downhole data, encountered hydrocarbons at two different depths but the data showed anomalies due to the impact of permafrost. This led to the lower-than-expected August reserve report from DeGolyer & MacNaughton. VOG, rightly it turns out, then invested in a vertical seismic profile of the hole and sent the enhanced data to the consultants.

Next stage is a flow test may now have to be performed.

mackem yes it looks corrected now. I did what you are told not to do, put all my eggs into the VOG basket long, then all the eggs into the VOG basket short early Friday morning, which gives some very large gains.

I would like to buy TAG, but cannot as the NMS is too small for champ invest, keep an eye on TAG, we are due flow news on well 3X and this could be a major turning point for TAG if the flow is good and they start producing. They are drilling more than 10 wells next year, and all in zones that have produced in the past, 2006 could be a very big year for TAG, especially with the new Belize 19 block to explore.

Well hats off to you Papal, i more or less did the same but missed
the initial rise from 50p to 100p in the game.

mackem, I was in early on VOG, thats why the gain is much larger, and a larger value short then pays back more.

I am undecided now whether to continue short in the game, or go long again, but its only fantasy money so no risk so think as the bear raiders are about I will stay short for Monday and see what happens.

theses are now at all time high ,they were floated at 70p so are not yet 100% up for thoses that payed 70p .a year latter they haVe found there target and can now become a producer at a Very good price for oil and gas compared to a year ago most of the oils in there position moVe 500% or more eg .jkx hnr dgo mrs pmo lot more there are going to be dips look at all the chart for the aboVe oils . three times i haVe made money on these hope for more to come .

That big find, much bigger than first thought, is sure good news for VOG, in due course there is a lot of talk about this going to 3 or much , much, higher.
