THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

bosley - 27 Jul 2006 11:08 - 4897 of 81564

soul traders - 27 Jul 2006 11:10 - 4898 of 81564

Hang on a mo, I'll se what I've got in the medical cabinet.

chocolat - 27 Jul 2006 11:11 - 4899 of 81564

Is your wheelbarrow big enough bos?

soul traders - 27 Jul 2006 11:15 - 4900 of 81564

Bosley, it seems that your case requires a stronger form of treatment.

soul traders - 27 Jul 2006 11:17 - 4901 of 81564

I also found this in the medicine chest, but it seems to have passed its use-by date, as there's something not quite right with the chemical composition . . . .

bosley - 27 Jul 2006 11:48 - 4902 of 81564

chocolat, no need for a wheelbarrow at the moment, all this hot sun and not working ........i'm just looking to increase me dosage ;)
doc soul, i'm afraid neither of your prescriptions have the necessary healing effect :))

Marc3254 - 27 Jul 2006 13:01 - 4903 of 81564

Nice to see everyone on form today even if a little under the weather.
been out the office and so missed all the fun.

bosley - 27 Jul 2006 13:49 - 4904 of 81564

very topical. twice a day orally did you say??? ;)

bosley - 28 Jul 2006 10:59 - 4905 of 81564

'kin superb bit of kit :))

soul traders - 28 Jul 2006 11:21 - 4906 of 81564

Can I take it we are using one to assist with the demolition of the shed?

bosley - 28 Jul 2006 13:10 - 4907 of 81564

soul, shed's gone. now me and my buddy, mr kango , are going through concrete like a hot knife through butter. i've even let my jeans fall down so i'm showing the crack of me arse , just for authenticity.

hewittalan6 - 28 Jul 2006 13:32 - 4908 of 81564

In this day and age of hand wringing liberals and extreme political correctness my crystal ball is predicting a letter to Bos, form something like the Sheds Protection League, or the Outhouses Humane society.

hewittalan6 - 28 Jul 2006 13:48 - 4909 of 81564

Been reading Howards thread about his daughters musical career and I think I should offer my services as a guitarist.
I can play as many as 3 chords in the same song and I am rarely at odds with the drum beat by more than about 4 seconds.
I am told that this is world class for a retarded, one armed, deaf guitarist so I noe need only to contract a degenerative hearing disorder and cut one of my arms off and I will be truly world class. What a compliment!!
(Good Luck Francesca).

Al, I will happily offer to provide a drumbeat you will rarely be at odds with. Especially if the song's too quick as my arms get tired.

soul traders - 28 Jul 2006 14:17 - 4911 of 81564

Bos, I'm jealous; you're having all the fun. I've been wanting to destroy something (in a good cause) for about a fortnight now - I feel this would be a perfect outlet for pent-up aggression. Can I borrow Mr. Kango when you've finished?

bosley - 28 Jul 2006 14:47 - 4912 of 81564

soul, why not get to bolton and give me a feckin' hand? lord knows i could do with one. breaking up the concrete isn't too bad. it's shifting and dumping it that's killing me :( i'm not even close to finishing so there's plenty of time to get your arse down here. i've even got some cold beers in the fridge. lordy lord do they taste good on a day like today !!!!!
