THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

They could have made a better programe than that ,,,i would like to have seen a bit more about him ,,a couple of interviews,, maybe an insight in to his life ,but i think he's quite a private type ,i did read that he is having a castle built by Lake Geneva , how fantastic would that be! ..

i think a board meeting is in order to discuss the latest buy-out attempt. we saw off the last hostile take-over by the intelligent thread but this blog thing is worrying. the big boys are backing them and we may need to fight dirty.

IanT has peruesed the five and a half thousand posts and has made an offer based on the value of the wit and financial acumen displayed therein. He has offered 2 tickets to see Jane Goody in Panto at the Lyceum Theatre, Oldham and a packet of Twiglets.
I say we reject the offer and hold out to see if Rupert Murdoch is interested.

Saw the profile last night, not a bad prog, it was great to hear murrey walker in fine fettle.
Also bought back some memories of some great and poor moments in the last few years racing.
But worth a watch.

Great fun

Left click and draw lines under the falling sand.
You can set light to it then put it out with some water.

bosley - 24 Oct 2006 23:17 - 5507 of 81564

come on. don't knock d.a. there's not enough great comedy on tv as it is !!!

Marc3254 - 25 Oct 2006 14:56 - 5508 of 81564

Whats really sad about D.A is he's been going so long i think he's starting to believe his own hype aswell.
Ever seen his program? Strange how they only ever have one home video camera and a torch. Yet big brother can film every part of a house.

Watch out !!,,,,,,, looking at the news tonight it looks like the govenment are going to tax the hell out of us to stop global warming ,i'll bet within 10 to 15 years the average person won't be able to drive a car .Now if you think that's good ,will i be able to get on a bus outside my house that will take me out in to the country very near to where i need to go ,,,i don't think so ,the only thing global warming round here is my blood, it's boiling !! ...Global warming Bah! the human race is just a blip in the cycle ,,it's warmed up and cooled down several times in the last million or so years.

bosley - 30 Oct 2006 11:15 - 5513 of 81564

boy, am i glad to be back at work ....... phew!!!!

hewittalan6 - 30 Oct 2006 11:25 - 5514 of 81564

It'll kind of balance out anyway.
USA and Europe will cause global warming, but North Korea will start a nuclear winter. Net result.....no change.
Don't know what they are all panicking about.
Anyway, jimmy supports global warming cos it means the wimmin will be wearing less clothes.
