Thanks Self19 for your input last week. It seems you are right that PET is a share that was ramped up for no real credit after all.

all oil shares have been totally walloped, perhaps more so than the rest of the market, miners excepted (even worse!).

to my mind, PET was always too risky, for though it allegedly has good conatcts and relationships in Iraq, PET does not actually have proven reserves (even) and the situation in Iraq itself will remain far too dangerous and unstable for a further 2/3 years ..... even then, will PET actually be granted the licences it seeks?

my last piece of advice: don't buy the spike; they will sell into it.

there you go - check out the bulls thread on advfn and you'll find the pathetic ramp after close from one of the biggest holders who is desperate to pump this so he can get out. He's getting his nuts squeezed on losing positions right across the market and he's got an awful lot of PET to dump - come on peeps; aren't you going to help him out? Get buying! I can tell you he's a nice guy but a rubbish trader...sad.

I can't quite work out why you're bothering to post Self. You've appeared from nowhere with some boiler room bollocks about PET, but the irony is you don't have to; the market is in meltdown and most oil and commodity stocks are getting hammered. Your little posts are not making any differnce at all to the overall sentiment.

That PET would continue to fall or the reasons for it? Stop being so naive. The whole market is down if you haven't noticed. Self19 and his troop have spread the rumours into a crashing market to help their short attack.
