Looks like we were down to the bare bones of posting today! To take SWW's baked potatoe a step further, a wee touch of Worcester sauce over the melted cheese and onion. As for the cheese, Orkney mature cheddar does it for me.

Going back to SEY, it said in the RNS that they will be running wire line logging and doing a flow test on Tiof-3. Wouldn't be doing that unless oil was there. All is still most definitely well here.

seawallwalker - 20 Oct 2004 07:57 - 885 of 7811

gavdfc I'll give that a try, thanks.

Of course we all know the best cheddar is from Cheddar ;-)

I agree about the wire log, makes sense.

I note that Ted Ellyard has stepped down from the end of the month from HNR for personal and health reasons. If you all rememebr, he caused a stir also when he sold a large wedge of his holding prior to the current drilling campaign.

Can see why he did it now, if he is ill and needs a rest why shouldn't he have it. The RNS is quite freindly towrds him.

Spookily enough, overnight the Woodisde CEO has been asked to resign, probably after Woodside made a smaller profit than last year, as a result of less production and less reserves. I include the latter comment as Woodside is 30% owned by Shell who have a history of employing people who can't count!

Why don't you cook your spuds in the microwave, scoop out their insides and mash them with garlic, Gruyere and a milk/cream mix. Season, then stuff the mash back into the skins and bake them.

Just a thought.

morning all...

theatre was fantastic (one flew over the cuckoos nest). i have to say that christian slater was quality but mackenzie cook (gareth from the office) was a tad disappointing as the immortal billy. the thing is that thse guys are trying to emulate one of the great stand alone films and characters so it is a challenge to say the least. all in, i would give the show 4 out of 5. only runs until early december and i would recommend any londoners out there to go. packed house as well.

afterwards we had a lovely bite in soho and found a black cab in two minutes as 11.30 which you have to appreciate at that time in the west end was a result.

hilary, i am so on for that potato recipe. forget potato dauphinios, we are having potato hilary tonight!

SEY, continues to hold its level and with wire logs being run there will hopefully be some news with a punch round the corner. any ideas when we get the results?

gavdfc - 20 Oct 2004 12:09 - 889 of 7811

Morning all.

Potato Hilary does indeed sound good.

As for Ted leaving HNR, can't blame someone for leaving their job due to health reasons, especially as it says in the RNS that he needs medical treatment. I wonder who will replace him in the New Year?

As to Props question re the wire line logs and timescale of results. Looking back from the previous RNS's re Tevet-1, on 28/9 it stated that drilling had reached 1389m and had been suspended as planned. Then on 5/10 RNS states well was drilled from 1377m to total depth of 2715m and that current operation was running wire line logs.

Then on 8/10 we got the RNS stating the results from the data.

From yesterdays RNS re Tiof-3 it stated- "Following coring, wireline logging operations will be
run and it is planned to conduct a flow test of the well."

Maybe the time scale will be similar to Tevet-1.

Don't blame Ted for leaving HNR if he's not well. Your health has to come first. Money's no good if you're too ill to enjoy it. But I have the perfect replacement for him, my mother-in-law. Her appointment would send the share price through the roof and a little stay in aussie would do me the world of good. I could just imagine a board meeting at HNR's H.Q. with a female version of Les Dawson as CEO complete with hair net and rollers.

Spuds I luv em.

gavdfc - 21 Oct 2004 10:42 - 895 of 7811

Go SEY! Turning out to be a good day here. And one of my shares has come back from suspension, happy days!

proptrade - 21 Oct 2004 10:58 - 896 of 7811

most of my oil watch is higher (apart from Hardman?). what was your suspended stock?

gavdfc - 21 Oct 2004 11:03 - 897 of 7811

Another tick up on the bid. Suspended stock was Chaco Resources CHP. Got in under 2p before it's suspension, moving up quite a bit today when they came back from suspension. Few RNS's out on it this morning.

gavdfc - 21 Oct 2004 11:34 - 898 of 7811

Moving up again, team SEY is on the move!
