Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

Marky...a pint of Becks would be Posh...kids are wanting a DB9 for the school runs but may have to keep that on hold for a while longer yet.
Still haven't found anyone that has sighted the test equipment in the FI's yet.

you wouldn't even get them on the parcel shelf, let alone in the boot!
they're great to drive provided you have a resident mechanic
fascinating m'facturing procedure ..... bodywork held together by assorted grades of epoxy tape or similar

Sorry wrong thread. Thought this was the Rockhopper thread.
To those who want innate chat, why not try face book or similar.
Pathetic.

off you go then! ..... no compulsion to stay here ..... perhaps you'ld be better occupied trying to sue the directors of company X and Y; or was it FSA?

next week may be crunch time for RKH, if ernest comes in 500p if its a duster 250p.

if drop is to 250, i don't think it'll stay there long as RKH already has oil, and almost (not absolutely) certainly an awful lot of it.
what i find extraordinary is the relative resilience of FOGL, for they have zilch and even if ernest does have commercial oil, it's still a long way away from FOGL's prospects

cynic don't forget FOGL is supported by BLT.

it'll need an awful lot more than an M&S sandwichto sustain it! ...... BLT can afford to have duds, but surely FOGL is really just a squiddly one trick pony - as is/was indeed RKH

cynic so what ask BLT what they think.

time will tell ..... anyway, i'm happy being short FOGL as it's nicely in the money, and if ernest is a duster, it's sure not going to have a happy day

cynic the fact that BLT has partnered with FOGL and is now very familiar with the search area is intrigueing, we are pretty sure they are not wasting time and money in the Falkland Islands to just enjoy the scenary and the weather.

as i said, time will tell ..... do you think they drilled toroa thinking it was a dodgy spot? ..... hardly! .... that would have been picked as where they thought most likely, and we all know the result

cynic so what BLT is the only multinational company that has committed to the FI so far, they have the knowledge and are ready to move if it turns out to be the major oil province we are lead to believe.

that as may be, but BLT may well find they have backed the wrong horse with FOGL ..... if you want to ask the Q as to whether or not BLT will have a pop at RKH, that is another story

cynic as you know BLT has the muscle to buy out any of the FI tidlers if any of them come up with anything worthwhile, but more importantly they are ahead of their serious competitors in finding out whether it is worth drilling in these waters. Shell drilled and went away as they did in Uganda, just maybe RKH may be on BLT's agenda,we will find out in the next few months.
