I am certain if Alex does any more stuff to my back end I will notice.

old orders left in the book on VAN, we're just going around in circles all the time. You must feel our frustration? As a trader one can only take so much before it's time to call it a draw with your provider.

kate,

We will take a look, please accept my apologies. And yes rest assured I do understand your frustration.

Ian,

when can we expect the problem with Volume to be resolved?
It's already been "off" for 48 hrs...

James(MoneyAM) - 06 Feb 2008 07:39 - 346 of 599

oddie,

Due to the nature of this problem, it's hard to know exactly when it will be resolved.

We have developers working solidly on this and will have things fixed as soon as is possible.

My appologies again for the ongoing inconvenience.

Thanks, James.

Ian - Seems to be a distinct shortage of RNS announcements this morning. Confirmed by loads of AFX summaries of RNS articles that aren't there!

Can you get on to Investegate, please, as it's nice to know what's going on in these volatile times...

Morning,

Clicked on the our services tab (Just checking what I would get without Level 2).
When I click on comparisons price grid and then click on demo for easy step stock screener and advanced stock screener there is no demo, it just takes you to a home page. Tried them a couple of times. Some other demo's are OK. Just for your info as the demo not working wont effect me.

Greek.

dell314 - 06 Feb 2008 08:30 - 349 of 599

Greekman - I wouldn't worry about demoing stockscreener as I think their data is at least a year, or two, out of date!

Thanks Dell,

Just clicked on it for interest, as I have had problems making the actual (none demo) stocks screener work in the past.

oilyrag - 06 Feb 2008 09:39 - 351 of 599

Ian, would it be possible for someone to sort out STI's price information as I am getting a bit tired of having a blank space on my watchlist etc. It used to work ages ago. Thanks.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Feb 2008 10:02 - 352 of 599

Dell,

I will look into the RNS thing.

Greek,

I will get Geoff to sort out the demo thing - thanks for pointing it out.

Oily,

It is with our supplier - I will follow this up and hopefully it shoudl be resolved as soon as possible.

Dell,

The RNS problem is with our supplier - they are investigating and hope to have this resolved soon.

Ian - thanks for chasing RNS issue.

FWIW, I can't really see any point in Geoff working on the Stock screener demo, unless the data actually gets updated. As I pointed out earlier, the data must be at least a year, or two, out of date and therefore it's of no use to man or beast.

You can see how old the data is just by the share prices it spews out for various companies.

i.e. AL. at 1128, SBRY at 325, MRW at 192 etc

The functionality of stock screener looks good but not without regular updates...

dell,

The RNS should now be back up and running for you - Geoff will also be taking a look at the stock screener as a whole with regard to updtes.

Seymour Clearly - 06 Feb 2008 12:53 - 356 of 599

Haven't read any of the other posts but stockwatch is showing (eg) BLT @ 1510 - 14, L2 show it a @ 1525-26.

Why? Which is correct?

Edit, have now refreshed stockwatch and is show the same as L2. A bit confusing?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Feb 2008 12:55 - 357 of 599

Seymour,

I have both stockwatch and level 2 showing the same i.e. 1525 - 1526. can you try refreshing please?

Ian

Seymour Clearly - 06 Feb 2008 12:58 - 358 of 599

Ian, seems to have sorted, but can't understand why they got out of synch?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Feb 2008 12:59 - 359 of 599

Seymour,

It would seem that fro some reason your machine was struggling to deal with the applet - It might be worthwhile when you have a spare minute, restarting your machine, just to clear everything down.

OK Ian, thanks. I am doing a lot on my machine!
