In a profit on these but not a holder, sold about 12 months ago, looking to buy back in, I believe they will go back up again if only on rumour not actual contract, although the oil is there and someone will get contracts, just a case of who.

Same story as myself maggiebt4, but I live in hope that PET will rise again and that I am not so greedy next time.

you think not? ..... in all seriousness (unusual for me i know), iraq is a mess and will stay that way for 2/3 years or more into the future .... PET may well have good contacts there, but that is not the same as bringing home the bacon - a stonable offense i suspect in iraq!

Think the 2007/2008 needs to be changed as well. Agreed cynic, it's certainly not happening this year but I'm in for the long haul since I, foolishly, missed the short one.

I know none of you want to hear this but there is a rumour (I would call it more than a rumour) that PET is a boiler room scam. Yes they do exist and have the service contracts, but everything else is bullshit and is propagated by a few people who continually drip feed bogus info in order to pump and dump. There are large holders who know the story but cannot get out without taking a big hit. I would advise anyone to try and imagine what is going to happen to the sp when someone holding millions of PET is forced to close - that moment is not far off and there are no Institutions to prop this company up. FWIW I have NO position in PET; I am simply tired of hearing about people getting wiped out on this crap.

I totally agree with u, self19. That's what I heard about too.

many years ago there was a mega scam of a supposed gold mine in phillipines ..... transpired that all was rigged and one of the perpetrators found himself trying to fly from a helicopter .... cost me, and many others, an absolute bundle

i have also heard that PET are approaching security organisations to comply with conditions for the next stage of approval by the oil ministry....
